Upgrading My Office Recording Studio

With the help of my lovely wife, I've installed new lights and also painted my office backdrop. These are part of the upgrades in my YouTube journey. This video is also an experiment. My vlogs so far have been simple, with me talking to the camera and making simple edits. This video is a combination of cuts, angles, and speeds.

Getting 100 Subscribers!

Over seven years ago, I started my YouTube channel, and in February 2025, I finally hit the big first milestone of 100 subscribers! I've heard it said that the first 100 subscribers are the hardest and getting here has certainly taken a long time and seemed like forever.

Here's my video post sharing about the milestone!

I plan to do a celebration video for 250, 500, and 1,000 subscribers. As of publishing this, I'm currently at 219 subscribers!

My Video Goes Mini-Viral!

My most successful video to date in views and watch hours was in February! It was incredible and exciting.

How YouTube Has Changed My Life @ 136 Subscribers

One of the ways to be successful on YouTube is to see what videos have helped others become successful, and mimic those videos. One trend example is talking about how YouTube has changed the YouTuber's life.

In December 2024, I was at 68 subscribers. When I hit 136 subscribers in February, I made the following video talking about how I discovered the opportunity that is YouTube. YouTube gives me a pathway to reach my goal as a content creator and it seems like one of the most viable pathways to accomplish my goal, as well as being realistic to accomplish in a reasonable amount of time.
