Skillshare Course: How To Work More Effectively With Freelancers

As part of launching my first book, Path of the Freelancer, I also spoke at several events. One of them was at the Atlanta Hubspot User Group (HUG) on the topic of companies and freelancers working well together. It ended up as a terrific talk with many great questions (and a new consulting client).
As part of my preparation for speaking to the group, I decided to kill two birds with one stone by creating an online class as part of my preparation. This involved me writing up an article, creating a presentation slide deck, and recording videos of the event's segments. Not only was I well prepared for the event, I now had an asset to sell. As a result, I created the online course at Udemy as a mini-experiment (Udemy allows students to purchase classes À la carte). Unfortunately, I didn’t promote the class on the Path of The Freelancer website, so it quickly went dormant.
Well recently, a staff member from Skillshare found my class on Udemy and invited me to place the course on their website. Unlike Udemy, Skillshare is a membership portal so if someone is paying for the membership, they're granted access to all premium courses. Think Netflix as opposed to iTunes (Udemy). Skillshare is also geared for helping Instructors grow an online digital footprint, which is what I'm doing here on the blog. Teachers are compensated by the number of minutes classes are watched, similar to how Kindle Unlimited works (compensation based on the number of pages read).
So, my course is now on Skillshare. If you have an account, you can check out the course here. If you're not a Skillshare member, you can join with this link and also receive two months free on your signup (I get $10 if you become a paid member).
For those that decided to take the online course, please leave a review as a way to help me grow the course. If you have an idea for a future course or blog post, send me a message with your concept.
