In this Inspirational People interview, I'm speaking with Maria Joyner, the co-founder of FounderScale. On a prior episode of the podcast, I spoke with her co-founder Josh Sweeney. For those not familiar, FounderScale helps organizations leverage HubSpot to increase sales and enhance marketing.

Maria is an entrepreneur, marketing technologist, Hubspot specialist, and an American ex-pat living and working with her husband and son in the jungles of Costa Rica. Her professional background includes email deliverability, marketing automation, and scaling B2B startups. She considers her greatest professional achievement surfing during the work day.

In this conversation, we talk about her big leap from Atlanta to Costa Rica, how she lives better, the ways she approaches work, her permaculture mindset, and how stories have impacted her.
