Appalachian Trail Hiking Insights: Life Lessons Learned With Don Neder
Welcome to another episode of the Share Life Podcast. Today, I'm speaking with Don Neder about the life, work, and societal lessons learned during his first leg of the Appalachian Trail hike.
Don is a long-time entrepreneurial friend who founded FlowGevity where he helps people live the healthiest life (mental and physical) possible by teaching simple techniques (Wim Hof Method and cold therapy to name two) for sustaining wellbeing. In one of the earliest episodes of the podcast, I interviewed Don about his ice baths, the Wim Hof breathing method, and his approach to stewarding our bodies.
In this Listen to Learn episode, we talk about Don's first stint on the Appalachian Trail. He's hiked about 25% of the trail and plans to finish after his temporary pause to be available as his daughter gives birth to a grandchild. During this moment of reflection, I pelt Don with questions about his experience, what he's learned along the way, and how he's changed from the experience so far.
